Name of the Post:- Junior Hindi Translator – 02 Nos
Salary: Rs. 35,400/- PM
Educational Qualifications: (i) Master’s degree from a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; or
(ii) Master’s degree from a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; or
(iii) Master’s degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; or
(iv) Master’s degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; or
(v) Master’s degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level; and
(vi) Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in Translation from Hindi to English and vice- versa or two year’s experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice-versa in Central or State Government Office, including Government of India undertakings.

Selection Process: (i) The qualification prescribed is the minimum requirement and possession of the same does not automatically make the candidates eligible to be called for Written Test and skill test. There will be an initial screening, based on the academic performance and other parameters given in the on-line applications and only those screened-in candidates will be called for written test. Those who qualify in the written test will have to appear for Skill test.
(ii) The final selection will be done amongst qualified candidates, purely based on the scores obtained by them in the written test. From amongst the candidates who qualify in the skill test, with minimum 60% marks, empanelment shall be done in the order of marks obtained in the written test. Skill test, wherever prescribed will be purely on ‘go-no-go’ basis and marks obtained in the skill test shall not be considered for selection. In case of a tie in written test scores, the academic scores of the notified qualification shall be the tie breaker. (ii) Candidates are not required to send the confirmatory copy. However, the on-line application has to be invariably followed up with a copy of “No Objection Certificate’’ from the employer concerned in respect of those applicants who are employed under Central/State Government/Public Sector Undertakings /Autonomous Bodies, duly indicating the name, the post for which applied/post No. and Regn.  5.    Junior Parliamentary Interpreter (Hindi) {04 Post}

Essential: (i) Bachelor's degree in any discipline; and
(ii) Minimum Shorthand speed of 160 w.p.m. in Hindi. Provided that if sufficient number of candidates possessing a minimum shorthand speed of 160 w.p.m. are not available to fill the vacancies, candidates possessing a minimum shorthand speed of 140 words per minute may be recruited subject to the condition that such candidates would not be eligible for annual increment or confirmation or promotion till they attain a minimum shorthand speed of 160 words per minute. Provided that if any such candidate fails to attain the minimum shorthand speed of 160 words per minute within a period of 5 years from the date he joins the post of Junior Parliamentary Reporter, he shall be liable to be terminated in case he does not hold lien on any post and in other case, to be reverted to the substantive post held by him.

Essential: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline and possessing the following minimum physical standards:-
Physical Standards:
Male: Height 167.5 cms. (relaxable by 2.4 cms. In case of Hill area residents), Chest girth 76.5 cms and with a minimum expansion of 4.5 cms.
Female: Height 154.6 cms. (relaxable by 2.4 cms. In case of Hill area residents).
Vision: 6/12 in both eyes without glasses. Candidates should be free from physical defect, deformity and diseases and should not suffer from
colour blindness.
Desirable: (i) ‘C’ Certificate in NCC or sportsman of distinction who has represented a State or the country at the National or International level in sports and athletics or who has represented a University in recognized Inter-University Tournament.
