Applications are invited in the prescribed Performa from suitable candidate for filling up following Group ‘A’ & ‘B’ posts on Deputation Basis in All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Virbhadra Marg, Rishikesh, Uttarakhand- 249203. The essential qualification, experiences etc. required for applying for these posts are as under.

1.   Chief Librarian – 01 Post
Pay Band: Rs. 37400-67000 with GP Rs. 8700/-
Educational Qualifications: Officers under the Central/State/U.T. Governments/ Universities/ Statutory/Autonomous Bodies or Research and Development Organizations holding analogous posts on regular basis or with at least 5/8 years of regular service in the posts in the scale of Rs. 2200 - 4000/ Rs.2000 - 3500 (pre-revised scale) respectively, or equivalent and possessing the following qualifications and experience.
Essential: (i) At least a second class Master’s Degree in Science Preferably in Biological Sciences of a recognized University or equivalent;
(ii) Degree or equivalent Diploma in Lab. Science of a recognized Institution or University; and
(iii) 7 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in a library of standing.
Desirable: (i) Master’s Degree in Library Science;
(ii) Training in Medical Librarianship;
(iii) Experience of documentation work in a responsible capacity;
(iv) Knowledge of Sanskrit and any modern European language other than English. Librarian Grade I of AIIMS with 8 years of regular service in the grade shall also be considered (if he possesses the qualifications mentioned at SI. No. 9 @ above) and in case he is selected (on consideration of all those who have applied) the appointment shall be treated as promotion.

2.    Chief Nursing Officer – 01 Post
Pay Band: Rs. 15600-39100 with GP Rs. 7600/-
Educational Qualifications: Officer of the Central/State Govts. / Union Territory Administration or of Autonomous / Statutory bodies holding analogous posts on regular basis or with 5 years of regular service in a post in the scale of Rs. 2200-4000 and possessing the following qualifications and experience:
(i) B.Sc. Nursing and
(ii) Not less than 15 years experience in the profession out of which 5 years should be as Nursing Superintendent or in similar capacity in Nursing Administration. Preference shall be given to those possessing M. Sc. in Nursing.

Pay Band: Rs. 15600-39100 with GP Rs. 6600/- (SI. No. 3 to 10)

3.    Deputy Chief Security Officer – 01 Post
Educational Qualifications: Officers of the Police Departments of the Central/State/U.T Govts or Officer of the Para Military Forces, holding analogous posts on regular basis or with 5/8 years of regular service in the scale of Rs.2200-4000/2000-3500 (pre-revised scale) or respectively and preferably having experience connected with security, handling agitations/strikes of employees.

4.   Chief Medical Social Service Officer – 01 Post
Educational Qualifications: Officers of the Central/State Govt./ Union Territory Administration or of Autonomous/Statutory bodies holding analogous post on regular basis or with 5 years of regular service in a post in the scale of Rs.2200-4000 (pre-revised scale) and possessing the following qualifications and experience:
(i) Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University.
(ii) Master’s Degree in Professional Social Work from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent; and
(iii) Twelve years of teaching / research / professional experience in a Medical Institution/Organization in The of Medical Social Work preferably Rehabilitation of Orthopaedically handicapped persons.

5.    Chief Dietician (& Nutrition Officer) – 01 Post
Educational Qualifications & Essential: Officer of the Central/State/U.T. Government or of Autonomous/Statutory bodies holding analogous posts on regular basis or with 5/8 years of regular service in the grade of Rs. 2200-4000/2000-3500 (pre-revised scale) respectively and possessing the following qualifications and experience:
(i) M.Sc. (Food & Nutrition); and
(ii) 10 years of practical experience as Dietician in a large teaching hospital and managerial experience.
Desirable: Ph.D. in Human Nutrition or Therapeutic Dietetics.

6.   Executive Engineer (Civil) – 01 Post
Educational Qualifications: Executive Engineer (Civil) OR Assistant Engineer (Civil) with 8 years of regular service in that grade, from CPWD. In the event of suitable candidates/s not being available from CPWD similar Officers from other Engineering Departments of the Central Government or central Statutory / Autonomous Bodies shall be considered. An Officer taken on deputation shall possess a Degree in Civil Engineering.

7.   Librarian Selection Grade – 01 Post
Educational Qualifications: Officers under the Central/State/U.T. Governments/ Universities/ Statutory/ Autonomous Bodies or Research and Development Organizations holding analogous posts on regular basis with at least 5/8 years of regular service in the post in the scale of Rs.2200-4000/Rs.2000-3500 respectively, or equivalent (pre-revised scale) and possessing the following qualifications and experience.

8.   Accounts Officer – 05 Post
Educational Qualifications: (i) Officer under the Central Government or Central Statutory / Autonomous bodies holding analogous posts on regular basis and handling Accounts and Finance Matters or holding posts of Accounts/Audit Officer or equivalent in the pay scale of Rs.2375-3500 / Rs.2200-4000 (pre-revised scale).
(ii) Assistant Accounts Officers in the pay scale of Rs.2000-3200 with 7 years of regular service in the grade (including the service in the grade of Junior Accounts Officer/SAS Accountants/Accountant in the scale of Rs.1640-2900).

9.  Store Officer – 02 Post
Educational Qualifications: Officers of Central/State/U.T. Govts. Failing which Officers of Central Statutory/ Autonomous Bodies holding analogues posts on regular basis or with 3/5 years of regular service in the scale of Rs.2000-3200/1640-2900 (pre-revised scale) and possessing the following:
(i) Degree of a recognized University or equivalent;
(ii) Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Materials Management of a recognized University / Institution or equivalent; and
(iii) Not less than 5 years experience in a supervisory capacity in handling stores, preferably medical.

10.   Security Officer – 01 Post
Educational Qualifications: Officers of the Police Departments of the Central/State/Union Territory Governments or Officers of the Para Military Forces holding analogous posts or with 5 years of regular service in a post in the pay scale of Rs.1640-2900 or equivalent (pre-revised scale) and preferably having experience connected with security, handling agitations/strikes of employees.

Pay Band: Rs. 9300-34800 with GP Rs. 4600/- (SI. No. 11 to 13)

11.   Librarian Grade I (Document list) – 02 Post
Educational Qualifications: Officers of the Central/ State/UT Governments or Officers of the Central Autonomous/Statutory Bodies or Public Sector Undertakings.
(i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis; or
(ii) Posts in the pay scale of Rs.9300-34800 + grade pay Rs.4200 with 3 years of regular service in the grade; and
Possessing the following qualifications:
(i) M.Sc./M.A./M.Com. Degree; and
(ii) Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science; and
(iii) Experience in acquisition of books, periodicals and documentation work in a Medical or other library of standing.

12.   Assistant Engineer (A/C & R) – 02 Post
Educational Qualifications: Officers of the CPWD holding the post of Assistant Engineer (Electrical) or with 8 years of service as Jr. Engineer (Electrical) and possessing at least 3 years of experience in A/c. & Refgn. In the event of a suitable candidate not being available from CPWD, officers in the pay scale of Rs.(9300-34800) GP Rs4200/- or equivalent or with 8 years’ service or equivalent from other Central Govt, Departments or Statutory/ Autonomous bodies and possessing the following qualifications shall be considered.
(i) A Degree in Mechanical Engineering; or at least a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with specialized course in Refrigeration and Air-conditioning or equivalent, and
(ii) Experience of not less 5 years in air-conditioning and refrigeration.

13.   Sr. Sanitation Officer – 01 Post
Educational Qualifications: Officers of the Central/State/ U.T. Governments or Officers of Central Autonomous/ Statutory / Local Bodies or Public Undertakings:
(i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis; or
(ii) A post in the pay scale of Rs.9300-34800 + grade pay Rs.4200 with 3 years' of regular service in that grade; and
Possessing the following qualifications and experience:
(i) Certificate in Sanitary Inspector's Course;
(ii) Experience in Sanitation of an Institution or Hospital of repute for not less than 12 years of which at least 5 years shall be in a supervisory capacity.
Desirable: (i) Diploma/Certificate in Public Health.
(ii) B.Sc. preferably in Biological Sciences.

14.   Sanitation Officer – 03 Post
Pay Band: Rs. 9300-34800 with GP Rs. 4200/-
Educational Qualifications: Officers of the Central/ State/ U.T. Governments or Central Autonomous/ Statutory/ Local Self Government Bodies or Public Sector undertakings:
(i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis; or
(ii) Holding a post in the pay scale of Rs.5200-20200 + grade pay Rs.2800 with 5 years of regular service in the grade; and
Possessing the following qualification and experience:
(i) Certificate of Sanitary Inspector Course:
(ii) 10 years of experience in sanitation, preferably in a hospital of repute.

Educational Qualifications & Essential: M.D. in an appropriate branch of Medicine with at least 02 years post doctoral experience in a recognized hospital/ dispensary.
                                                      OR
M.B.B.S. with minimum 55% marks or equivalent including completion of compulsory rotatary internship followed by at least 05 years post degree experience in a recognized hospital/ dispensary/ nursing home.

Age Limit: 18 to 25 years
Educational Qualifications: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board or institution.


2.  Security Guard – 02 Post
Age Limit: 18 to 27years
Educational Qualifications: Pass in 10th Standard; For Ex-Servicemen, Ex-Police and Ex-Central Para Military Personnel 10th std pass or equivalent certificate from Armed Forces.


Selection Procedure: * Canteen Attendant The process of selection involves only written examination. The written examination will be of two hours duration comprising 75 objective type questions covering the above syllabus. The qualifying marks for the written examination shall be 40% for unreserved posts and 35% for posts reserved for OBC. Final short listing of the candidates for selection will be done purely based on their merit on the basis of the marks secured by them in the written examination In case of tie in marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination the following method will be applied one after another till the tie is resolved.

* Security Guard The selection will comprise of three stages i.e. physical standards test, physical test events and written examination Candidates will be put through physical standards test as below:
Ø Physical Standards: Minimum Height: 167 Cms (Relaxable for Scheduled Tribes and Hillmen as per Government orders)
Ø Chest: 80-85 Cms (un-expanded) (Relaxable for Scheduled Tribes and Hillmen as per Government orders)
Those who meet the physical standards prescribed above will be subjected to the following physical test events one after another.

How to Apply:- (i) Facility for submission of online application will be available from 08-11-2016 at 10:00 am to 21-12-2016 05:00 pm on website of IGCAR i.e. www.igcar.gov.in under the tab "Recruitment".
(ii) Applications will be accepted only through online mode. Only one application should be submitted for one post. Candidates should submit separate application for each post, if they intend to apply for more than one post.
(iii) Candidate should read the instructions in the advertisement and online application form carefully before making any entry or selecting any option. Candidate should enter all the required details while filling up the online application form.
(iv) Before filling application form, candidates should keep ready the necessary documents / certificates required. Candidate is required to fill up personal details and details of post applied for etc. and upload recently taken front facing passport size photograph in JPEG format with size not exceeding 50 KB and signature in JPEG format with size not exceeding 20 KB.
(v) A valid e-mail ID and Mobile Number is mandatory for submitting application online and email ID should be kept active till the declaration of results. IGCAR will send call letter for Written Examination/Skill Test/Trade Test to the registered / given e-mail ID or candidates may be required to download from the website of IGCAR. No correspondence will be sent through post/courier.
(vi) The candidate must ensure that their photo and signature is clearly visible in preview at the time of filling application in online mode. If photo / signature displayed is small or not visible in preview on website, that means photo / signature is not as per the required format and in that case the application will be rejected. Therefore candidates must ensure that photo and signature are clearly visible.
(vii) Incorrect online applications will be summarily rejected.
(viii) Before clicking the submit button, the candidate is advised to check that all the details filled in are correct. Candidate may also ensure that name, date of birth, etc. are entered correctly in the application form. Any incorrect information may disqualify candidature. After final submission of application no request for change / correction in any particular in the application form shall be entertained under any circumstances.
(ix) After final submission, the finally submitted application form will be generated. Candidates are advised to take a printout of the application form generated by the system for reference purpose.
