Indian Bureau of Mines is setting up a Remote Sensing Laboratory at it’s Regional office, Hyderabad in association with National Remote Sensing Centre. This laboratory will synthesize the satellite data and it will be interpreted for the better regulation of the mining sector as per requirement.

Educational Qualifications & Essential: M.Tech (Geoinformatics or Phorgrammetry & Remote Sensing);
M.Sc. (subjects of natural science)/ environmental sciences/ Geology/ Geoinformatics/ Satellite remote sensing);
BE in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering;
B. Sc with one of the main subjects Geology/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics and computer applications with minimum working/ research experience of 3-4 years in spatial analysis and modeling.
Desirable: Programming in Python and web GIS.
Note:- Walk-in-interview is going to be held for the post of ‘Associates’ on adhoc position, purely on temporary basis.
