Applications are invited for filling up the following posts in the Coconut Development Board on deputation/ direct recruitment basis.

Pay Band: Rs. 15600-39100 with GP Rs. 6600/-
Age Limit: Not exceeding 48 years (Relax able for Government servants and employees of the Coconut Development Board up to 5 years in accordance with the instructions / orders issued by the Central Government).

1.  Director – 01 Post
Educational Qualifications & Essential: (i) Post Graduate Degree in Horticulture/Agriculture/Plant Sciences (with working experience of plantation tree crops) from a recognized University or equivalent;
(ii) Ten years experience in a responsible capacity (out of which 5 years experience in a Group A post under the Central Government or equivalent) in agricultural development with particular reference to coconut crop.
Desirable: Doctorate Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/Plant Sciences relating to coconut crop.

2.  Deputy Director (Development) – 02 Post
Educational Qualifications: (i) Post Graduate Degree in Horticulture / Agriculture/Plant Sciences (with working experience of plantation tree crops) from a recognized University or equivalent; and
(ii) Seven years experience in a responsible capacity (out of which 5 years experience in a Group A post under the Central Government or equivalent) in agriculture development with particular reference to coconut crop.

Applications Fee: Rs.100/- (Rupees One hundred only). Women candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
